Our company vision
Our company is called WeAreScrumTrainers Inc.
Our customers want Scrum training. We want to provide the best Scrum training on the market.
The product (The what)
Our customers want to buy posters from us containing the essence of Scrum.
Our company must provide that product before lunch today!
The Product Owner’s acceptance criteria
Every team must produce 1 poster per sprint with a chosen topic from the Scrum Guide.
Every presentation topic must be unique and must not overlap with other team’s presentations. (We don’t want waste!)
Every team must do a timeboxed 1 minute presentation at the Sprint Review and Demo.
Each presentation must be readable and understandable by the other teams.
The structure (The how)
Organize the work using Scrum.
Work in short sprints
Form Scrum teams (self organise!)
2-3 sprints in total, due to time constraint.
Sprint length: 12 minutes in total:
- Sprint planning, 2 min
- Execution, 8 min
- Retro, 1 min
- Sprint review and demo, 1 min for each formed team
- + time for each team’s presentation
- + time for sharing of learning experiences (How can we use this “back home” in our own teams?)
Expected learning objectives of the game
- self-organisation
- (the value of having a “Definition of Done”)
- cross team coordination
- working in timeboxes (sprints)
- (estimations?)
- the value of planning
- the value of retros
- the company wide celebration of product delivery!!!
Facilitation of the game
We will form x number of teams. Each team must have access to posters and whiteboard-pens for their presentations.
Team needs an identity (a team name, slogan, whatever)
